But not that Crazy!
The story behind the collages.
1. This is the second collage making period.
The first lasted eight years and several hundred
collages were created.
2. This recent period began when I needed an
artistic outlet as I tried to hold a former US
Senator accountable for what appeared to be
stealing from his mother's Estate to the
detriment of my clients, and a church, a
hospital and another charity. (I was
unsuccessful in the conventional sense,
although I was the "first person in 57 years" to
(either) "be escorted out of my office" or to
stand my ground, watch him get visibly
agitated and angry when I pointed out the
anomalies between his statements and the
court documents and then watched him leave
his office while I finished sipping my Starbucks
Passion Fruit Iced Tea. (You'll need to decide
for yourself who's telling the truth.)
He also tried to get me disbarred, but the
Office of Bar Counsel reviewed his complaint
and then spanked him and two senior partners
at a big DC firm in an unusual two page
letter....I don't know, perhaps I got under his
skin when I told him "I hate to quote President
Bush, but I think you've misunderestimated
me" or maybe it was when I kept repeating
"Show me the Documents!". Or perhaps it
was after he continuously tried to evade
answering my written requests and I began a
letter with "What we have here is a failure to
communicate".)
