| Villa Toucan, nestled in a secluded cove near Playa Ocotal, is on the Northern Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. As part of the Bahia Pez Vela Resort you'll have access to an ebony beach, two pools, free wireless internet, a restaurant, two sea kayaks, free, a toddler pool, a concierge/office and an abundance of peace and quiet which may be gently interrupted by the local howler monkeys. Villa Toucan is one of the 25 beach side villas (as opposed to the 15 mountain side - oceanview villas). Only one row of villas separates you from the beach. The pool, restaurant and beach are barely a minute walk away. You can wake up in the master bedroom, go outside onto your private balcony and see and hear both the ocean waves and the howler monkeys in the nearby trees. (Of course, the villa is air conditioned and daily maid service is available.) We've also planted many different flowers around Villa Toucan, particularly the kind that attract hummingbirds. There's also a papaya and mango tree, pineapples and passion flower vines. You can enjoy many different nearby activities (they're all listed below)...or simply relax on the secluded beach, listen to the gentle waves while getting a massage, fall asleep in a hammock or view the fish and unique creatures in the nearby tidal pools. The villa sleeps up to 10 and has three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms in addition to a full kitchen, living room and dining area. One BR has a king bed, one BR has a Queen and a fold out futon type thing that makes a large twin (for an adult or two small kids) and the third bedroom has three twin beds (two are pushed together and there is a break filler to make it feel like a queen). The living room couch folds into a queen and we have an air mattress that can be inflated to sleep one more soul. The Villa has comes equipped with a dvd player, barbeque, washing machine and dryer, microwave, dishwasher and full set of cookware and dinnerware.
